Advances in digital technology are opening up new ways for learners, instructors and institutions and providing an expanding array of opportunities. We are going to explore this changing educational environment and some of the challenges and innovative solutions being developed to enhance the learning experience and use of modern marvels to use the maximum number of resources that are available in Minimal costs. With advances in technology way of Learning has improved drastically with e-Learning, and the benefits are priceless. The features and functionality of LMS platforms in the past few years have opened up a new realm of possibility in redesigning and converting instructor-led courses. The interface to the e- Learning experience is now a personalized portal, where the learner can interact with the learning environment – including peers, subject matter experts, experienced veterans in his field and even the course designer. Innovative solutions are yet to be developed to help the LMS platform, Cloud computing is one of them, with the use of Cloud computing Technology the dream of OER can be accomplished. Universities, Organizations worldwide can contribute to the Open educational resource concept to make the Dream of e- Learning to become a Virtual reality. We are beginning to have a better world of each and all getting the world class education at their doorsteps. Informal training and virtual communities to take its shape in near Future.

A network bridge is a computer networking device that creates a single aggregate network from multiple communication networks or network segments. This function is called network bridging.[1] Bridging is distinct from routing. Routing allows multiple networks to communicate independently and yet remain separate, whereas bridging connects two separate networks as if they were a single network (hence the name "bridging"). In the OSI model, bridging is performed in the data link layer (layer 2), below the network layer (layer 3).[3] If one or more segments of the bridged network are wireless, the device is known as a wireless bridge and the function as wireless bridging.

There are four types of network bridging technologies: simple bridging, multiport bridging, learning or transparent bridging, and source route bridging.

Although e-Learning is considered a relatively new concept, this concept had already been there beforehand in the early 1960s. First such experimentation had been done in the United States of America based Stanford University’s psychology professors Patrick Suppes and Richard C., Atkinson. They experimented e-Learning, though in its infancy form, by using computers to teach mathematics course to their students.

Requirements Analysis: Understand what data will be stored in the database, and the operations it will be subject to.
Conceptual Design: (ER Model is used at this stage.)
What are the entities and relationships in the enterprise?
What information about these entities and relationships should we store in the database?
What are the integrity constraints or business rules that hold?
A database `schema’ in the ER Model can be represented pictorially (ER diagrams).
Can map an ER diagram into a relational schema.
Logical Design: Convert the conceptual database design into the data model underlying the DBMS chosen for the application.
